Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Montessori Family Companion (“the app”), operated by Montessori Makers LLC (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for your own family’s use. Please don’t copy, resell, or redistribute the content, or use it to build a competing product.

Subscriptions and billing

• Full access is offered as an auto-renewable subscription: $14.99 per month or $119.99 per year (prices may vary by region and are shown before you purchase).
• In the iOS app, payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. On our website, payment is processed by Stripe.
• Your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple ID settings; a website subscription can be managed from your account. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
• Refunds for purchases made through Apple are handled by Apple under its policies.

Accounts

You’re responsible for the email account you use to sign in. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

The content is guidance, not professional advice

The app offers Montessori-informed educational guidance for parents and caregivers. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional who knows your child. Use it as one input among many.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the app: no attempting to breach security, interfere with its operation, or access other users’ data.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll revise the “last updated” date and, for material changes, note them in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
