Montessori Family Companion (“the app”) is operated by Montessori Makers LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We built the app to keep as much of your family’s information on your own device as possible.
Your child profiles, the observations and journal entries you write, saved playbooks, and your reading progress are stored locally on your device. This content is not uploaded to our servers and we cannot see it.
We use a small number of providers strictly to run the app: Supabase (secure account and authentication storage), Apple and Stripe (payment processing), and Resend (sending sign-in and account emails). These providers process only the limited data described above.
The app is intended for parents and caregivers, not for use by children. Any information you enter about your child (name, birthdate, observations) stays on your device as described above and is used only to tailor guidance to your child’s age.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Account → Delete account), which removes your account and subscription record. Because journal and profile data live on your device, clearing the app or deleting the app also removes that content. If we update this policy, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, note them in the app.
